Driver Information Center (DIC) Description and Operation: On/Off

The ON/OFF button is used in order to turn the DIC display ON and OFF. Holding the ON/OFF button for greater than 3 seconds toggles the IPC and the DIC displays between English and metric units. The DIC sends a class 2 message to the IPC indicating the current setting, and the km/h indicator or the MPH indicator illuminates in the IPC accordingly. The DIC displays either ENGLISH MODE or METRIC MODE for 2 seconds.
