Installation (Lower Left)

  1. Install lower valve rocker arm cover gasket in lower valve rocker arm cover, and bolt grommets in lower valve rocker arm cover. Install lower valve rocker arm cover.
  2. Install 12 bolts for lower valve rocker arm cover. The lower valve rocker arm cover is tightened 2 times in numerical order. Bolts No. 1 and 2 are used to position cover. Tighten lower valve rocker arm cover bolts to 89 INCH lbs. (10 N.m) in proper sequence. Retighten lower valve rocker arm cover bolts to 89 INCH lbs. (10 N.m) in proper sequence. See Figure.
  3. Install injector harnesses. Install injector harness bracket bolts. Install injector wire terminals and nuts to injectors. Connect injector wiring harnesses connectors. Install upper left valve rocker arm cover.
