Removal (Left)

  1. Remove turbocharger assembly. Remove fuel junction block. Remove left fuel rail assembly. Remove intake manifold tube. See INTAKE MANIFOLD TUBE .
  2. Remove 9 bolts and 2 nuts from intake manifold. A bolt is located in intake manifold opening. The intake manifold uses sealer. Pry at area by common rail bolt holes. Avoid damage to sealing surfaces.
  3. Remove intake manifold from cylinder head. To prevent entry of debris in cylinder head, tape openings.
