Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Oldsmobile Aurora. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the fog lamps to the fascia. Refer to FOG LAMP REPLACEMENT -- FRONT . .
  2. Install the energy absorber to the front bumper fascia. Refer to ENERGY ABSORBER REPLACEMENT - Front .
  3. Position the front bumper fascia and the front energy absorber to the front impact bar.
    CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  4. Install the nuts (2) to secure the front fascia to the front fender.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the nuts, (2) to 4 N.m (35 in lbs).

  5. Install the push pin retainers (1) to secure the front bumper fascia to the upper tie bar.

  6. Connect the fog lamp electrical connectors.
  7. Connect the parking lamp electrical connectors.
  8. Install the front fascia extensions. Refer to FASCIA EXTENSION REPLACEMENT - Front  in Bumpers.

  9. Install the push pin retainers to secure the fascia deflector to the fascia.
  10. Lower the vehicle.
  11. Close the hood.
