Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Buick Regal and 2002 Buick Century. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the rear seat bolster trim cover to the rear seat bolster pads.

  2. Install the push-in retainers to the center of the rear seat bolsters, pressing into place until fully seated.

  3. Reposition the rear seat bolsters trim cover side flap under and over the seat back frame side rail.

    Reposition the rear compartment release handle cable to the right rear seat bolster, if equipped.

    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  4. Install the bolts to the left and/or right rear seat bolster. Tighten the bolts to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

  5. Install the push-in tab from the end of the rear seat bolsters, pressing into place until fully seated.

  6. Install the push-in J-hook retainers to the rear seat bolsters, pressing into place until fully seated.
  7. Install the rear seat back. Refer to Seat Back Replacement - Rear (Non-Folding)  or Seat Back Replacement - Rear (Folding)  .
