Removal Procedure

  1. Open the rear compartment.
  2. Remove the rear bumper fascia. Refer to FASCIA REPLACEMENT - REAR BUMPER .
  3. Pull back the right rear compartment trim panel as needed. Refer to Compartment Trim Panel Replacement - Rear .
  4. Use a small, flat-bladed tool to release the snaps on the pressure relief valve. Apply pressure at two upper locations and two lower locations.

  6. Remove the pressure relief valve from the lower quarter panel.
