Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Buick Regal and 2002 Buick Century. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Important:  The right side of the rear compartment trim panel fits over the left side.

  1. Install the rear compartment trim panels to the rear compartment.

  3. Install the push-in retainers located by the lock striker.
  4. Replace the rear compartment convenience net retainers, if equipped.
  5. Install the rear compartment convenience net, if equipped.
  6. Install the spare tire.

    Install the spare tire cover to the rear compartment.

  7. Install the rear compartment mat to the rear compartment.

  9. Position the communication interface module and the bracket in the rear compartment.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  10. Install the interface module bracket nuts. Tighten the bracket nuts to 4 N.m (35 lb in).

  11. Connect the GPS antenna cable by pushing in on the metal sleeve.
  12. Connect the 2 lower connectors to the module.

  14. Connect the cellular antenna by pressing in on the square plastic housing.
  15. Close the rear compartment.
