Removal Procedure

Partially drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System .
Position the J 38185 to the clamps in order to remove the outlet radiator hose and outlet heater hose from the thermostat housing.

Remove the thermostat housing bolts.
Remove the thermostat housing/thermostat from the cylinder head.
