Removal Procedure

Remove the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to FUEL INJECTOR SIGHT SHIELD REPLACEMENT .
Partially drain the Cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System .
Disconnect the surge tank inlet hose from the surge tank.

Remove the PCV fresh air tube (1).

Disconnect the surge tank inlet hose from the engine.

Remove the 2 push nuts attaching the pipe to the engine.
Remove the surge tank inlet hose/pipe assembly from the vehicle.
