Visual Inspection

- Inspect the camshaft, crankshaft and intermediate sprockets for damage. The camshaft, crankshaft and intermediate sprockets are not repairable. If a camshaft, crankshaft and/or intermediate sprocket is damaged, the camshaft, crankshaft and/or intermediate sprocket must be replaced.
- Inspect the intermediate sprocket bearing bore for damage. The intermediate sprocket bearing bore is not repairable. If the intermediate sprocket bearing bore is damaged, the intermediate sprocket must be replaced.
- Inspect the timing guides and shoes for wear, cracks or damage. The timing guides and shoes are not repairable. If a timing guide or shoe is worn cracked or damaged, the timing guide or shoe must be replaced.
- Inspect the timing chain tensioners for damage. The timing chain tensioners are not repairable. If a timing chain tensioner is damaged, the timing chain tensioner must be replaced.
- Inspect all bolts for damage. If a bolt is damaged, the bolt must be replaced.
- Inspect the timing chains for damage. The timing chains are not repairable. If a timing chain is damaged, the timing chain must be replaced.
