Water Pump Installation

  1. Ensure that the front cover (1) and water pump (3) are clear of old gasket material.
  2. Place a new water pump gasket (2) on the water pump (3).
  3. Place the water pump in position on the front cover.

    CAUTION: Refer to in FASTENER NOTICE .
  4. Install the water pump bolts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the water pump bolts in the sequence shown to 14 N.m (124 in lbs).
