Oil Pan Removal

  1. Remove the transaxle brace bolts (1, 2).
  2. Remove the transaxle brace.

  3. Remove the oil pan bolts.
  4. Lift the oil pan from the lower crankcase.

    Important:  DO NOT damage the sealing surface.

  5. Remove the oil pan gasket. Scrape any remaining gasket material from the pan rail surfaces.

  6. Remove the oil level sensor bolt.
  7. Remove the oil level sensor.
  8. Remove and discard the oil level sensor O-ring.
