Ignition Module Installation - Right (w/o RPO NC1)

  1. Press the spark plug boots onto the ignition coil assembly.

  2. Lower the ignition coil assembly into the camshaft cover valley. DO NOT damage the ignition coil assembly's perimeter seal.
    CAUTION: Refer to in FASTENER NOTICE .
  3. Install the ignition coil assembly bolts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the ignition coil assembly bolts to 9 N.m (80 in lbs).

  4. Install the fuel injector sight shield bracket.
  5. Install the fuel injector sight shield bracket bolts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the fuel injector sight shield bracket bolts to 8 N.m (71 in lbs).
