Camshaft Cover Disassemble

Important:  Do not reuse the camshaft cover gasket and seals.

  1. Remove and discard the camshaft cover gasket.
  2. Remove and discard the spark plug port seals.
  3. Remove and discard the ignition module ground/RFI spring port seal.

  4. Remove the camshaft cover bolts.
  5. Remove the camshaft cover bolt grommets.

  6. Remove from the left camshaft cover the following:
    • The fuel injector sight shield studs (1)
    • The PCV valve (3)
    • The PCV valve grommet (2)
