Inspection Procedure

Inspect the balance shaft cover gasket sealing surfaces (1) for excessive scratches or gouging.
Inspect the balance shaft cover baffles (2) for damage.

Inspect the balance shaft cover bolt holes (1) for damage.
Repair or replace the balance shaft cover as necessary.
