Installation Procedure

  1. Install the wheel hub and bearing (3) to the vehicle.
  2. Install the wheel hub and bearing retaining bolts. Tighten the bolts to 180 N.m (132 ft lbs).
  3. Install the wheel drive shaft retaining nut. Tighten the nut to 250 N.m (184 ft lbs).
  4. Install the retainer (3) and cotter pin (2) to the wheel drive shaft nut.
  5. Install the dust cap (4).
  6. Install the brake rotor. Refer to BRAKE ROTOR .
  7. Install the tire and wheel.
  8. Lower the vehicle.
