Knee Bolster Trim Panel: Installation

  1. Position the instrument panel driver knee bolster panel to the vehicle. See Fig 1 . Align the retainers on the instrument panel driver knee bolster panel with the slots at the top of the knee bolster. Press on the instrument panel driver knee bolster panel in order to engage the retainers.
  2. Install the bolts that retain the lower edge of the instrument panel driver knee bolster panel to the instrument panel. Tighten the bolts to 35 INCH lbs. (4 N.m). Install the instrument panel lower extension trim plate. See INSTRUMENT PANEL EXTENSION TRIM PLATE  .
  3. Install the instrument panel cluster trim plate. See INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER BEZEL TRIM PLATE  . Install the instrument panel cluster lower filler panel. See INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER LOWER FILLER PANEL  .
