Turn Signal & Multifunction Switch Assembly - Assemble - Off Vehicle

Important:  The electrical contact of the turn signal and multifunction switch assembly must rest on the contact of the turn signal cancel cam assembly.

  1. Install the turn signal and multifunction switch assembly and secure by using the 2 pan head tapping screws. Tighten the screws to 7 N.m (62 in lbs).

  2. Reconnect the connectors of the turn signal and multifunction switch assembly.
  3. Install the new wire harness straps onto the wire harness assembly (1).
  4. Install the wire harness assembly (1) into the wire harness strap (2).
  5. Install the upper and lower trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers - Assemble - Off Vehicle .
  6. Enable the inflatable restraint steering wheel module. Refer to DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
