Installation Procedure
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Buick Regal and 2002 Buick Century. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- Install the antenna extension cable as noted before removal.
Important: Ensure that the cable is secured to the harness at least every 150 mm (6 in) to aid in protecting and routing the cables.
- Use electrical tape in order to secure the extension cables along the outside of the wiring harness.
- Connect the IP antenna extension cable to the body harness antenna extension cable along the front door hinge pillar.
- Install the right carpet.
- Install the lower trim panel to the right center pillar.
- Install the right rear carpet retainer. Refer to CARPET RETAINER REPLACEMENT - REAR .
- Install the right front carpet retainer. Refer to CARPET RETAINER REPLACEMENT - FRONT .
- Install the right IP insulator. Refer to CLOSEOUT/INSULATOR PANEL REPLACEMENT - RIGHT .
- Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to SEAT CUSHION REPLACEMENT - REAR .
- Connect the antenna extension cable to the body harness antenna extension cable.
- Install the right upper quarter trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - REAR QUARTER UPPER .
