Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Buick Regal and 2002 Buick Century. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the daytime running lamp (DRL) ambient light sensor to the DRL ambient light sensor connector.

  3. Position the DRL ambient light sensor to the opening in the I/P upper trim panel. Twist the DRL ambient light sensor 1/4 turn clockwise.
  4. Verify that the DRL ambient light sensor wiring harness will not be pinched when the I/P upper trim panel is installed. Working from right to left, press down on the I/P upper trim panel in order to engage the retainers to the I/P upper trim pad.
  5. Refer to the following procedure to install the windshield pillar garnish moldings:
    • Position the garnish molding by the front pillar.
    • Push on the molding to engage the 2 clips.
    • Press the weatherstrip back onto the pinchweld flange.
