Installation Procedure

  1. Install the power seat to the seat risers if equipped. Refer to Seat Adjuster Replacement - Front .
  2. Install the seat belt guide to the seat riser.
    CAUTION: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
  3. Install the nuts that retain the seat to the risers.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the nuts that retain the seat to the riser to 43 N.m (32 ft lbs).

  4. Install the front lower speaker to the passenger seat, if needed. Refer to AMPLIFIER AND/OR SPEAKER REPLACEMENT - FRONT SEAT (LUXURY Y91) .
  5. Install the seat and the seat riser to the vehicle.
  6. Connect the electrical connector.

  7. Install the nuts that retain the seat riser to the floor.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the nuts that retain the seat riser to the floor to 43 N.m (32 ft lbs).
