Installation Procedure

- Install the seat cushion frame to the seat back frame.CAUTION: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
- Install the seat back hinge bolts to the left side of the seat frame.
Tighten
Tighten the seat back hinge bolts to the left side of the seat frame to 30 N.m (22 ft lbs).
- Install the bolts to the right side of the seat frame.
Tighten
Tighten the seat back hinge bolts to the right side of the seat frame to 30 N.m (22 ft lbs).
- Install the lumbar support cable. Refer to Lumbar Support Cable Replacement (Luxury (Y91)) .
- Install the seat cushion cover and pad. Refer to Seat Cushion Cover Replacement - Front (All Except Luxury) or Seat Cushion Cover Replacement - Front (Luxury Y91) or Seat Back Cover and Pad Replacement - Front (All Except Luxury) or Seat Back Cover and Pad Replacement - Front (Luxury Y91)
- Install the bucket seat in the vehicle. Refer to Seat Replacement - Bucket (All Except Luxury) or Seat Replacement - Bucket (Luxury Y91) .
