Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the bucket seat from the vehicle. Refer to Seat Replacement - Bucket (All Except Luxury)  or Seat Replacement - Bucket (Luxury Y91)  .
  2. Remove the seat back cover and pad from the seat back frame. Refer to Seat Back Cover and Pad Replacement - Front (All Except Luxury)  or Seat Back Cover and Pad Replacement - Front (Luxury Y91)  .
  3. Disconnect the lumbar plate cable (1) from the lumbar plate.

  4. Pull rearward on the lumbar plate corners to release it from the seat back frame.

  5. Remove the lumbar plate from the seat back frame.
  6. Remove the bucket seat cushion cover and pad. Refer to Seat Cushion Cover Replacement - Front (All Except Luxury)  or Seat Cushion Cover Replacement - Front (Luxury Y91)  .

  7. Remove the lumbar support cable clip.
  8. Remove the lumbar support cable from the side of the bucket seat cushion frame.

  9. Remove the lumbar support cable and housing from the bucket seat cushion frame.
