Park Brake Lever Assembly: Installation

  1. Install the park brake lever assembly to the vehicle. See Figure .
  2. Install the right front park brake lever retaining nut. Tighten the park brake lever mounting nut. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  3. Connect the electrical connector to the park brake warning lamp switch.
  4. Raise the vehicle.
  5. Connect the park brake cables to the equalizer.
  6. Lower the vehicle.
  7. Install the floor console.
  8. Enable the park brake automatic adjuster. See PARK BRAKE CABLE AUTOMATIC ADJUSTER  under ADJUSTMENT & INSPECTIONS.
