Installation Procedure

  1. Use the following procedure in order to install the right rear door weather-strip to the channel on the side of the door:
    1. Apply a mild soap and water solution to the right rear door weather-strip.
    2. Start at the bottom of the channel in the door and slide the right rear door weather-strip up the channel to the top of the door.
  2. Install the right rear door weather-strip to the top of the door. Use GM Weather-strip Adhesive GM P/N 12345097, or Canadian P/N 10953479 or the equivalent, if you are reusing the weather-strip.
  3. Press the retainers in the right rear door weather-strip into the holes in the door.
