Installation Procedure

- Apply weather-strip adhesive into the channel on the rear door opening weather-strip. Use GM P/N 12345097, or Canadian P/N 10953479, or the equivalent.
- Start at the corners and align the rear door opening weather-strip to the door opening pinch-weld flange.
- Align the channel on the rear door opening weather-strip with the pinch-weld flange.
Important: When installing the rear door opening weather-strip, ensure that the corners have not pulled away from the body.
- Press the weather-strip into place. If you are reinstalling the original weather-strip, use GM weather-strip adhesive GM P/N 12345097, or Canadian P/N 10953479 at the bottom ends of the rear door opening weather-strip in order to retain the weather-strip to the body.
- Install the retainers in the ends of the rear door opening weather-strip into the holes in the floor panel.
- Install the rear door frame garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Rear Door Frame .
- Install the rear floor trim plate. Refer to Floor Trim Plate Replacement - Rear .
- Install the right rear corner trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - RIGHT REAR CORNER .
- Install the driver side body side rear trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - BODY SIDE REAR .
- Install the rear corner garnish molding. Refer to GARNISH MOLDING REPLACEMENT - REAR CORNER .
