Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the right side rear door trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - SIDE REAR DOOR .
  2. Remove the right side rear door extension. Refer to Extension Panel Replacement - Rear Door .

  3. Remove the right side rear door inside handle. Refer to Handle Replacement - Rear Door Inside .
  4. Remove the right side rear door outside handle. Refer to Handle and License Pocket - Rear Door Outside .
  5. Remove the right side rear door wiring harness from the door. Refer to Wiring Harness Replacement - Door .
  6. Remove the right side rear door hinged rear window or stationary window (if needed). Refer to HINGED REAR WINDOW REPLACEMENT or REAR WINDOW REPLACEMENT .
  7. Remove the right side rear door weather-strips (if needed). Refer to WEATHERSTRIP REPLACEMENT - FRONT AND REAR DOOR LOWER .
  8. Remove the right side rear door rear lock. Refer to LOCK REPLACEMENT - REAR DOOR .
  9. Remove the right side rear door speaker, if equipped. Refer to SPEAKER REPLACEMENT - REAR DOOR .
  10. Remove the bolts that retain the right side rear door upper and the lower door hinges to the body.
  11. Remove the right side rear door from the vehicle with an assistant.
