Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear passenger seats as needed. Refer to SEAT REPLACEMENT - REAR BENCH (ALL EXCEPT LUXURY) or SEAT REPLACEMENT - REAR BENCH (LUXURY Y91) .
  2. Remove the driver side body side rear trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Body Side Rear .
  3. Remove the front door lower pillar garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Lower Pillar .
  4. Grasp and gently pull the body side front lower trim panel in order to disengage the retainer clips.
  5. Remove the body side front lower trim panel from the vehicle.
  6. Inspect the body side front lower trim panel for broken or missing retaining clips. Replace the retaining clips as needed.
