Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear passenger seats. Refer to SEAT REPLACEMENT - REAR BENCH (ALL EXCEPT LUXURY) or SEAT REPLACEMENT - REAR BENCH (LUXURY Y91) .
  2. Remove the front headliner. Refer to Headliner Replacement - Front .
  3. Remove the overhead console assembly, if equipped. Refer to Overhead Console Replacement - Intermediate (Luxury Y91)  and to Overhead Console Replacement - Rear (Luxury Y91)  .
  4. Remove the driver side body side front garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Left Body Side Upper .
  5. Remove the passenger side front corner garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Right Side Front .
  6. Remove the body side rear upper garnish moldings. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Body Side Rear Upper  .
  7. Remove the seat belt anchor bolt. Refer to SEAT BELT REPLACEMENT - FRONT .
  8. Remove the coat hooks. Refer to Coat Hook Replacement .
  9. Remove the overhead Velcro® strips from the headliner.

  10. Remove the rear heater controls, if equipped. Refer to MAIN HVAC CONTROL ASSEMBLY .
  11. Remove the dome lamps. Refer to DOME LAMP REPLACEMENT (ALL EXCEPT LUXURY) or DOME LAMP REPLACEMENT (LUXURY Y91) .
  12. Remove the roof console speakers, if equipped. Refer to SPEAKER REPLACEMENT - ROOF CONSOLE (LUXURY Y91) .
  13. Slide the headliner from the vehicle rearward.
