Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the sunshades. Refer to Sunshade Replacement .
  2. Remove the console assembly, if equipped. Refer to Overhead Console Replacement - Front (Luxury Y91) .
  3. Remove the windshield garnish molding. Refer to Windshield Garnish Molding Replacement .
  4. Remove the front door opening upper frame garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding - Front Door Opening Upper Frame .
  5. Remove the front door upper pillar garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Upper Pillar .
  6. Remove the dome lamp. Refer to DOME LAMP REPLACEMENT (ALL EXCEPT LUXURY) or DOME LAMP REPLACEMENT (LUXURY Y91) .
  7. Remove the rear heater controls. Refer to MAIN HVAC CONTROL ASSEMBLY .
  8. Remove the front headliner from the retaining clips at the rear edge of the headliner.
  9. Remove the front headliner from the vehicle.
