Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the driver side front door upper pillar garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Upper Pillar .
  2. Remove the body side rear upper garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Body Side Rear Upper .
  3. Remove the driver side body side front trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Left Body Side .
  4. Pull at the bottom of the garnish molding in order to release the retaining clips.
  5. Pull down at the top of the garnish molding in order to release the retaining clips.
  6. Remove the left body side upper garnish molding from the vehicle.
  7. Inspect the left body side Upper garnish molding for broken or missing retaining clips. Replace the retaining clips as needed.
