Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the instrument panel (IP) extension. Refer to Instrument Panel (I/P) Extension Replacement .
  3. Disconnect the electrical connectors (1) from the 12-volt power supply socket (2).
  4. Remove the retaining ring (3) from the 12-volt power supply socket by unscrewing the ring.
  5. Remove the 12-volt power supply socket from the IP extension.
