Check Gages

The CHECK GAGES indicator illuminates in the IPC when the one of the following conditions exist:

The engine coolant temperature (ECT) is at or above 118°C (244°F).
The IPC receives the ECT information through a dedicated hardwire input from the PCM.
The engine oil pressure (EOP) is at or below 34 kPa (5 psi).

The IPC receives the EOP information through a dedicated hardwire input from the EOP sensor.
