Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Buick Regal and 2002 Buick Century. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the cooling fan motor.
  2. Install the cooling fan motor bolts.

    Tighten: 

    Tighten the bolts to 6 N.m (53 in lbs)

  3. Install the cooling fan blade.
  4. Install the cooling fan blade nut.

    Tighten: 

    Tighten the nut to 6 N.m (53 in lbs)

  5. Connect the cooling fan motor electrical connectors.
  6. Install the cooling fan heat shields.

  8. Install the cooling fan assembly. Refer to Cooling Fan Replacement - Electric
