Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the cross vehicle brace. Refer to BRACE REPLACEMENT - CROSS VEHICLE in BODY FRONT END .
  2. Reposition the coolant reservoir hose clamp (1) at the radiator overflow fitting.
  3. Remove the coolant reservoir hose from the radiator overflow fitting.
  4. Remove the nuts (2) from the shock tower studs.
  5. Remove the coolant recovery reservoir (3) from the lower retainer and the shock tower studs.
  6. Drain the coolant from the recovery reservoir in to a clean container.
