Park Brake Release Handle Assembly: Removal

  1. Disconnect the release cable from the brake lever. Disconnect the cable from the retainer on the brake lever. Remove the park brake release lever handle mounting bolt.
  2. Remove the release handle from the instrument panel retainer. Remove the release handle and cable from the vehicle. Note the routing of the cable as you remove the park release handle assembly from the vehicle.
