Removal (Rear Cable)

  1. Complete the lever pin up procedure. See ENABLING THE PARK BRAKE CABLE AUTOMATIC ADJUSTER  .
  2. Loosen the cable at the cable adjuster. Disconnect the front cable from the rear cables.
  3. Remove the rear brake shoes from the backing plate. Disconnect the cable from the backing plate retainer.
  4. Remove the rear cable from the vehicle.
