Removal (Front Cable)

  1. Complete the lever pin up procedure. See ENABLING THE PARK BRAKE CABLE AUTOMATIC ADJUSTER  .
  2. Loosen the cable at the cable adjuster. Disconnect the front cable from the rear cables.
  3. Remove the release handle and the cable from the vehicle. See PARK BRAKE RELEASE HANDLE ASSEMBLY  .
  4. Disconnect the front cable from the lever.
  5. Disconnect the front cable from the lever retainer.
  6. Remove the rubber grommet by gently pulling it through the cowl. Remove the front cable from the vehicle.
