Hydraulic Brake Booster: Removal

  1. Drain the power steering fluid. Remove the brake master cylinder. See MASTER CYLINDER  .
  2. Disconnect the hose to the power steering fluid reservoir at the hydraulic power brake booster.
  3. Disconnect the inlet hose and the outlet hose at the power brake booster. Remove the power brake booster pushrod.
  4. Remove the retaining nuts from the power brake booster. Remove the power brake booster from the vehicle. Remove the power brake booster gasket.
