Hydraulic Brake Booster: Installation

  1. Install the power brake booster gasket. Install the power brake booster to the vehicle.
  2. Install the retaining nuts to the power brake booster and tighten to specifications. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  3. Install the power brake booster pushrod. Connect the inlet hose to the power brake booster. Tighten to specifications. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  4. Connect the outlet hose to the power brake booster. Tighten to specifications. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  5. Install the power steering fluid reservoir hose to the power brake booster with new clamps. Tighten to specifications. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Install the brake master cylinder to the vehicle. See MASTER CYLINDER  . Bleed the power steering system. See BLEEDING, FILLING & FLUSHING BRAKE SYSTEM  .
