Brake Rotor: Removal

  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle with safety stands. Remove the tire and wheel assembly.
  2. Remove the brake caliper. See BRAKE CALIPER  .
  3. Remove the wheel bearings. See Front Suspension.
  4. Remove the rotor from the vehicle.
  5. Inspect and clean all of the parts. Replace any parts as necessary.
  6. Refinish the rotor if required. See BRAKE ROTOR REFINISHING  .
