Installation (Front Hoses)

  1. Install new gaskets to the front brake hose. Install the front brake hose to the vehicle.
  2. Install the retaining bolt of the front brake hose to the front brake caliper. Tighten the retaining bolt of the front brake hose to the front brake caliper to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  3. Install the retaining bolt and bracket of the front brake hose to the upper control arm. Tighten the retaining bolt of the front brake hose bracket to the upper control arm to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  4. Install the retaining nut and retaining clip to the front brake hose. Connect the front brake pipe to the front brake hose. Tighten the front brake pipe to the front brake hose to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  5. Bleed the brake hydraulic system. See BLEEDING, FILLING & FLUSHING BRAKE SYSTEM  .
  6. Install the tires and wheels on the vehicle. Remove the safety stands and lower the vehicle.
