Brake Drum: Removal

- Raise the vehicle. Support the vehicle with suitable safety stands. Remove the tire and the wheel from the vehicle. Install the pin into the park brake lever, to disable the park brake lever See DISABLING THE PARK BRAKE CABLE AUTOMATIC ADJUSTER .
- Mark the relationship of the rear brake drum to the axle for reference. Remove the rear brake drum retainers if present. Remove the rear brake drum from the vehicle.
