DTC C0269 Or DTC C0274: Excessive Dump/Isolation Time

  1. Perform diagnostic system check. See DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  under DIAGNOSIS & TESTING. After performing diagnostic system check, go to next step.
  2. Install scan tool. Using scan tool, clear DTC(s). Perform necessary solenoid test(s) under function test on scan tool. If solenoid test(s) shows that system is functioning normally, system is okay. If solenoid test(s) shows that system is not functioning normally, go to next step.
  3. Replace BPMV. After replacing BPMV, go to next step.
  4. Using scan tool, perform the necessary solenoid test(s). If solenoid test(s) shows that system is functioning normally, system is okay. If solenoid test(s) shows that system is not functioning normally, go to step  2 .
