Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to DRAINING AND FILLING COOLING SYSTEM in ENGINE COOLING .
  2. Remove the engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor. Refer to ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR .
  3. Remove the left engine mount strut from the left engine mount strut bracket. Refer to Engine Mount Strut Replacement - Left

  4. Remove the left engine mount strut bracket bolts.
  5. Remove the left engine mount strut bracket from the cylinder head.
