Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the engine coolant. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System .
  2. Remove the radiator outlet hose from the radiator.
  3. Remove the coolant hose from the vehicle.

  4. Remove the radiator outlet hose from the water pump.

  5. On the 6.5L and 8.1L, remove the surge tank outlet hose from the radiator outlet hose.
