Wheel Stud: Removal

NOTE: Tools Required: Tie Rod Puller (J-6627-A).

Raise and support the vehicle.
Remove the tire and wheel assembly.
Remove the rear wheel bearing/hub assembly. See WHEEL BEARING/HUB (REAR) .
Separate the backing plate from the rear hub. See REAR DISC BRAKE BACKING PLATE .
Use the J-6627-A in order to extract the stud from the hub.
