Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle.
  2. Remove the rear wheel.
  3. Remove the rear stabilizer link.
  4. Remove the brake hose bracket-to-knuckle bolts.
  5. Remove the brake hose bracket in order to disconnect the brake hose from the parking brake lever.
  6. Use a utility stand in order to support the lower control arm. See Figure.
  7. Disconnect the height sensor link from the lower control arm as necessary.
  8. Remove the upper control arm to knuckle nut and bolt. See Figure.
  9. Remove the upper control arm to crossmember bolts and nuts.

  10. Remove the upper control arm.
