Center Instrument Panel Trim: Removal

  1. Place protective tape between the instrument panel vinyl trim and the instrument panel center trim panel. Place protective tape between the instrument panel center trim panel bottom edge and the top edge of the console trim plate.
  2. Insert a plastic trim tool between the instrument panel and the upper right corner of the center trim panel. Ensure the trim tool is far enough in to engage the plastic substrate of the trim panel. See Fig 1 . Working in a clockwise rotation, pry the trim panel outward in order to disengage the retainers. Remove the trim panel.
