Removal & Installation

NOTE: Tools Required: J-43631 Ball Joint Separator

Raise the vehicle on a hoist. Remove the wheel and tire assembly. Remove the brake drum. Refer to REAR BRAKE DRUM . Remove the wheel stud using the J-43631. Dispose of the stud. Install a new stud. Insert the stud from the back side of the hub. Install 4 flat washers on the stud. Install the wheel nut with the flat side toward the washers. Tighten the nut until the stud head is properly seated in the hub flange. Remove the nut and washers. Install the brake drum. Refer to REAR BRAKE DRUM . Install the wheel and tire assembly.
